Mr Anthony McDonald
Anthony graduated with honours in medicine at Monash University in 1990. After internship and residency at the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne, he commenced general surgical training for two years. This involved terms specialising in burns and trauma. Anthony then entered four years of plastic surgery training. He completed his plastic surgery fellowship in 2000. Subsequent to this he spent 18 months in Exeter in England extending his experience in hand surgery and breast reconstruction.
Anthony returned from England at the end of 2001 to commence practice in Geelong. He is a member of the Plastic Surgery Unit at Geelong Hospital Barwon Health and also operates at St John of God Hospital. Anthony’s interests include cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery, hand surgery and general reconstructive surgery including skin cancer removal.
Anthony is a member of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons.
