Anthony McDonald Plastic Surgeon FAQs
What can I expect at my first appointment?
Welcome to the rooms of Mr Anthony McDonald. We offer comprehensive consultations in a relaxing, friendly environment.
On arrival you will be greeted by our office staff Lynne and Jacqui. They will ask you for your referral and completed patient registration forms if you haven’t already forwarded them to us.
You will then be shown into a consulting room by one of our nurses, Dani, Robin or Judy-Ann.
You will see Mr McDonald who will listen carefully to your concerns, requests or goals. He will examine you and talk you through the procedure, including the risks. You may ask to see some before and after photographs of patients who have had the same procedure that you are enquiring about. You can ask questions and you will be given written information relevant to your procedure.
Once you have seen Mr McDonald you will be given a quotation for the cost of your surgery, should this be appropriate. If you decide to proceed with your procedure, a date will be arranged and a pre-operative appointment may be booked if necessary.
Dani, one of our practice nurses, may contact you prior to your surgery and our nursing team will be available for you post-operatively. Please feel free to contact the rooms with any concerns or questions you may have on (03) 5221 7002.
